AEW is only a week away from this year’s iteration of its annual pay-per-view, Revolution. The event is set to air from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, and will feature several of the promotion’s top names, including MJF, Hangman Page, Jon Moxley, Konosuke Takeshita, Thekla, Kris Statlander, Swerve Strickland, Bandido, and more.
Speaking of Swerve, his heel turn last month, brought about by his vicious attack on Kenny Omega, has certainly altered the landscape of the company’s men’s division. This weekend on Collision, Tommaso Ciampa also turned to the dark side by ambushing Mark Briscoe. These major character transformations have undoubtedly generated more excitement regarding AEW’s current programming.
On that note, let us consider three more heel turns that could take place soon, perhaps even at Revolution 2026.
#1. Former AEW trios champion Kevin Knight
All Elite Wrestling has been consistently showcasing Kevin Knight as one of its most promising prospects since his debut last year. He scored wins over Darby Allin and Kazuchika Okada in the 2025 Continental Classic, and alongside his tag partner Mike Bailey and Hangman Adam Page, captured the World Trios Championships last January at Collision: Maximum Carnage, securing his first title in the company.
After racking up several singles wins, Kevin confronted AEW Men’s World Champion MJF at the end of February, which led to a title bout between The Jet and The Devil earlier this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, not only did Knight fall short against Friedman, he and his teammates also lost their trios belts to the Don Callis Family on the same show. This weekend on Collision, the high-flyer apologised to Mike Bailey for getting pinned on Dynamite.
Speedball brushed this aside, however, considering how MJF had played a part in their trios title loss, and hyped up JetSpeed’s Revolution 2026 rematch against the Callis Family alongside Mistico. He also vowed to beat Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Title next week on AEW Dynamite. However, this prompted Swerve Strickland to confront Bailey and Knight, and berate the latter for failing to get the job done against Friedman on Wednesday.
The Mogul then advised The Jet that in order to win big, he would have to conduct himself like a “killer”. Strickland has been quite open about Knight’s potential in All Elite Wrestling, and the latter may decide to align himself with the former World Champion in order to reach it. Thus, if JetSpeed and Mistico fail to beat the Don Callis Family for the trios belts at AEW Revolution, Kevin Knight could betray Speedball Bailey post-match, turning heel to join forces with Swerve.
#2. Former AEW trios champion Mike Bailey
Much like Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey has also been on a tear since their debut in All Elite Wrestling last year. Shortly after their arrival, they came close to winning the International Championship. Eventually, they formed a tag team with Kevin Knight, and the duo became a staple of AEW television since then. Wrestling as a tag team competitor did not dull Bailey’s singles prowess, however, as they put on an incredible display in the 2025 Continental Classic as well, with wins over Kyle Fletcher and The Jet himself.

Speedball is generally presented as a consummate babyface, owing to their likeable personality, morally righteous character and dynamic wrestling style. However, the longevity of a wrestler is often decided by how versatile they are, and as such, turning heel could provide Bailey the chance to truly explore the untapped depths of their persona and character. Thus, Speedball could be the one to take Swerve Strickland’s backstage advice to Kevin Knight to heart, and betray The Jet at Revolution 2026 to relaunch their solo career.
#3. Former World Champion Hangman Adam Page
After beating Andrade El Idolo at Grand Slam Australia to earn an AEW World Championship match at Revolution, Adam Page challenged MJF to defend his strap against him in a Texas Death Match. The Wolf of Wrestling initially refused, however, prompting The Cowboy to make a shocking promise- that if he fails to beat him at the pay-per-view later this month, he will never challenge for Men’s World Title ever again.
Friedman’s attempt at manipulating the stipulation of his upcoming bout against Page led to Tony Khan officially making it a Texas Death Match. However, the condition set by The Hangman, that he will never challenge for the World Championship again if he loses, will still hold for Revolution. Considering how MJF’s second reign began quite recently, it is unlikely he will drop the belt to Page next Sunday. However, locking the “Main Character” of AEW out of the World Title scene may not be a very feasible long-term creative idea either.

The solution, therefore, could lie in booking Page to go back on his word to the fans, thus turning him heel. The Virginia-native could attack Friedman after their showdown, and demand a rematch the following week on Dynamite. Alternatively, the company could actually pull off a double turn at Revolution itself, and have The Hangman brutalize and beat MJF via unethical, maybe even needlessly violent tactics.
