Azerbaijan host Saint Lucia at the Sumgayit City Stadium in Sumgait on Friday for an international friendly as part of the 2026 FIFA Series. Ranked 127th in the world, the Azeris missed the flight to the World Cup yet again following a disappointing run in the qualifiers.

Saint Lucia also fell short in their World Cup ambitions, winning just once from their four qualifying matches to finish third behind Curacao and Haiti.
