Chris Jericho reveals the biggest similarity between Vince McMahon & Tony Khan

Chris Jericho has discussed how former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and AEW President Tony Khan are similar. Le Champion has been absent from the Jacksonville-based promotion for over 11 months, touring with his band, Fozzy. Currently, he is still All Elite, but there is no update on his return.

The former AEW World Champion has worked in the global sports entertainment juggernaut for many years. He learnt many things under Vince’s regime. He has also gained extensive experience under Tony’s leadership. He recently talked about their similarities.

While speaking with GamesHub, Chris Jericho shared an incident in which he pitched a storyline involving him and Bray Wyatt. Chris explained how Vince McMahon would throw out the entire angle if he didn’t like it. The Demo God then said it would go the same way with Tony Khan and stated that both the bookers needed pleasing.

“It was a really solid pitch. But Vince just sat there eating his steak, and when I finished he said, ‘Bad cow.’ I said, ‘What?’ He goes, ‘Bad cow — the steak is tough.’ I said, what do you think of my pitch? He goes, ‘What else you got?’ The steak killed the whole angle. But that’s the nature of working for Vince — if he doesn’t like it, you’re done. Same with Tony, to a degree. You have to please your boss,” he said. [H/T – Fightful]
