Kamille’s first match following AEW return after 529 days officially announced

AEW star Kamille returned to the Jacksonville-based wrestling promotion after more than a year. Following her shocking appearance, the dominant star is set to wrestle her first official match on television.

During a backstage segment at the Zero Hour show before the AEW Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view, Renee Paquette was standing by with the TBS Champion Willow Nightingale for an interview. Just as they began, Nightingale was ambushed by the returning Kamille, who ended up injuring her shoulder and leaving the scene to make it clear that she was back.

Later on, it was announced that Kamille would be in action at the show. However, a visibly shoulder-tapped Nightingale rushed to the ring as her foe was already in there for a match. As the champion was entering through the ropes, Kamille attacked her injured area and then planted her in the ring corner. She delivered a running shoulder tackle, followed by a huge kick, and left Nightingale in the middle of the ring.

As the Dynasty pay-per-view went on the air, Nightingale appeared in a backstage segment. She reminded Kamille that everyone who had been trying to make a comeback at her expense had failed so far, and Kamille could try her luck by offering a match between them. As the segment ended, it was officially announced that Willow Nightingale would defend her TBS Championship against Kamille at the AEW Dynamite: Spring Break Thru event this Wednesday.

Kamille was top AEW star’s bodyguard

The aforementioned bout set the tone for Kamille’s first match back in All Elite Wrestling after nearly 529 days. She garnered major attention during her run as Mercedes Mone’s wall of protection. The duo had a spectacular run, until tensions began to rise and Kamille left The CEO’s side in November 2024.

That was her last appearance until she appeared at the Dynasty event tonight. So it remains to be seen if Kamille can keep the momentum going and dethrone Willow Nightingale in their upcoming match.
