Pirate Software’s head moderator and rest of moderation team have either been fired or have quit, according to YouTuber Quintheo

Twitch streamer and game developer Jason “Thor,” better known as “Pirate Software’s” head moderator, and the rest of his moderation team have either been fired or have quit, according to YouTuber Quintheo. On April 22, 2026, Quintheo uploaded a 16-minute video titled Pirate Software’s Mod Team Quit.

Quintheo claimed to have done a “bit of research” and stated that the former Blizzard Entertainment employee’s head moderator, Khronos, and his “crew,” had either been fired or “jumped ship.”

He elaborated:

“Pirate Software’s crew, more specifically his mate, that being Khronos, his head moderator, and the rest of his mod team, have either been fired or jumped ship. And in doing a bit of research, there have been some very interesting details that have come out surrounding his mass exodus/firing that has just gone down. Like Pirate, apparently calling Khronos a parasite, as well as the rest of the moderation team seemingly starting to jump onto the Pirate Software hate train.”

Quintheo also claimed that “sleeper cells infiltrated” a Discord server where Jason’s head moderator and other members of the moderation team were having “conversations regarding their tenure”:

“We had some sleeper cells from Quaker Nation infiltrate the very public Discord that Khronos has himself, where he hopped into a voice call, alongside a lot of the other mods, who seem to just be chatting, and it seems that they were having some conversations in regard to their tenure, working for Pirate Software. And I would say, the negative aspects of that, which are going to become very apparent.”

Quintheo shows Pirate Software’s head moderator’s Discord updated bio, where they said they’re “no longer” associated with the streamer

At the two-minute mark of the YouTube video mentioned above, Quintheo displayed a screenshot of Khronos’ Discord bio, which stated that they were “no longer engaged on PirateSoftware work or associated with him.”

Commenting on the situation, the YouTuber said:

“Now this got brought to my attention through my Discord, as we have a couple of threads for, you know, drama discussion. But you can see here, it says, ‘No longer engaged on PirateSoftware work or associated with him, contact him directly or go to his discord server.’ Now, that is worded, I would say, in a very positive way. But, of course, that could just be how I am perceiving this.”
