On Sunday, April 26, Bernd Wiesberger fired 4-under 67 in the final round of the Volvo China Open 2026 to win his ninth win on the DP World Tour. The Austrian star aggregated at 19-under after the fourth round to beat Adrian Otaegui by a three-stroke margin.
Wiesberger entered the final round of the Volvo China Open at one stroke behind Otaegui, who started the day pretty well. The UAE golfer picked up four birdies in his flawless first eleven holes.
Thanks for the submission!
However, Otaegui bogeyed the 12th and 16th before double-bogeying the 18th to eventually shoot even-par 71. Meanwhile, Wiesberger played a bogey-free round and four birdies helped him end his five-year-long title drought.
The purse size of the Volvo China Open 2026 was $2.75 million and Bernd Wiesberger bagged $469,121 (€400,172.05) as a winner’s share. Otaegui received €258,934.86 as runner-up while Mikael Lindberg earned €148,299.05 for the solo third-place finish.
