Will Conor McGregor fight Darren Till in BKFC? President David Feldman addresses the matchup potential after Till’s stunning debut win

Darren Till’s explosive BKFC debut immediately set up the idea of a potential future showdown with Conor McGregor.

The former UFC title challenger made a statement in Birmingham when he stopped Aaron Chalmers in the second round of his bare-knuckle debut. After surviving an early knockdown scare, Till stormed back with a brutal left hand that ended the contest and instantly established him as one of BKFC’s biggest attractions.

The victory also expanded a growing list of potential marquee opponents. Till has openly targeted Mike Perry, while McGregor’s name continues to hover over every major discussion surrounding BKFC’s future.

At the post-fight press conference, BKFC president David Feldman acknowledged that matchups involving McGregor, Till and Perry are the type of fights fans naturally gravitate toward. With Perry remaining the promotion’s biggest active star and Till arriving with significant name value from his UFC career, the possibilities are obvious.

However, Feldman stressed that McGregor’s immediate focus remains elsewhere. He said:

“Who knows what’s going to happen? I mean, Conor has this really good fight that I think he’s going to look really, really good in on July 11. He’s fighting Max Holloway. He’s got to get past him, then he has one more fight, and we’ll see what happens with Conor.”

The former two-division UFC champion is scheduled to return against Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11 in what will be his first UFC appearance in five years. Beyond that, McGregor still has another fight remaining on his UFC contract before any move into bare-knuckle competition can realistically be explored.

Since becoming a part-owner of BKFC, McGregor has repeatedly exchanged verbal shots with Perry. The pair have gone back and forth publicly for more than a year, creating a rivalry that many believe would become the biggest fight in BKFC history if it ever materialized.
