Maxxine Dupri addresses potential relationship with Vision member after being seen with him on WWE TV

Former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri has been making headlines despite not being featured on television often, as she has been part of a storyline in which she is seen having secret conversations with The Vision’s Austin Theory. Now the RAW female star has broken her silence.

Most recently, in a backstage segment, while Dupri was with her Alpha Academy factionmates, Theory passed by them, and Maxxine and the World Tag Team Champion exchanged glances, adding fuel to their romantic angle.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Dupri was asked about her secret conversations with Theory, which fans had pointed out a few times. The former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion did not deny talking to The Vision member, but said she is a friendly girl who gets along with people. As a result, all the girls in the locker room are her friends, and she is also friends with some male stars on the roster.

“I’m a friendly girl. I get along with everyone. I’m friends with all the girls in the locker room, and I’m friends with a lot of the guys on the roster,” she said. (H/T: Ringside News)

Moreover, she defended The Vision, specifically mentioning Theory, saying that they are misunderstood.

“I think The Vision is doing what The Vision needs to do–and maybe they’re a little misunderstood. I think if people took the time to get to know them and get to know Austin, maybe they would feel differently. I just think I’ve gotten to see that other side,” she said. (H/T: Ringside News)

Rising WWE star may turn heel and join a major faction

The Vision injury curse seems real as Logan Paul has torn his tricep and has been forced to take a six-month recovery hiatus, putting Paul Heyman’s crew in jeopardy once again.

Reports suggest that The Vision may soon add a new member to their group, and seeing the constant teases, it appears Maxxine Dupri may be the new member of Heyman’s crew and become the first female member of the faction after Becky Lynch.

By joining The Vision, Dupri would turn heel, and maybe she could also kick off a romantic angle with Theory.

That being said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his WWE creative team have in store for the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion in the coming weeks and whether she joins Theory and the heel stable.
