A four-time WWE Tag Team Champion has announced that he’s returning to in-ring competition. The star will be in action on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
Chad Gable is back to being himself after losing the Mask vs. Mask match at Noche de Los Grandes. Master Gable returned to WWE television on the June 5 episode of SmackDown. The former Alpha Academy leader had an intense staredown with Sami Zayn backstage before entering Nick Aldis’ office.
Thanks for the submission!
After his stint as the Original El Grande Americano, Gable has begun respecting the lucha libre culture. To make amends for his disrespectful actions as Americano, Gable has been apologizing to luchadors in WWE. On the latest episode of RAW, Master Gable made the save for Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee after the trio was attacked by Rusev and Ethan Page.
On the upcoming episode of the flagship show, Chad Gable will return to in-ring competition as he faces The Bulgarian Brute in a singles match. Ahead of the bout, the 40-year-old sent a message. In an X post, Gable expressed gratitude for the acceptance he has received since unmasking himself. However, he stated that it won’t mean anything if he doesn’t perform.
“The acceptance I’ve been given by EVERYONE upon dropping the mask and returning to #WWERaw has been overwhelming and will be forever treasured by me. But if I don’t perform and live up to my own expectations, it’ll all be for nothing. This Monday, Rusev is the first stop on a very important path I’ve defined for myself. Now or never. Come along for the ride.”
WWE star Chad Gable opens up about undergoing an additional surgery
In a YouTube video on his official channel, Chad Gable revealed that he underwent an additional surgery while being sidelined with an injury last year.
“We’re done. Surgery went well. Fixed it up just like we were supposed to. But while Dr. Dugus was in there, he found the bicep tendon at the shoulder was pretty much completely shredded, to a degree that he did not know, because the images don’t always show everything. So when he went in there, the bicep tendon was actually a lot worse than he thought it was. So he repaired that as well, since he was in there anyway. So, a little bonus surgery for Gable here,” shared Gable. (H/T: WrestleTalk on X)
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Chad Gable in WWE.
