Team Apex, S8UL, and Total Gaming to represent India at Free Fire World Cup 2026 Paris

Three Indian clubs, Apex Gaming, S8UL, and Total Gaming Esports, have been invited to the Free Fire Esports World Cup 2026. For the first time, the country received an invitation to participate in the World Cup of the mobile game. The event will be played from July 15 to 18 this year in Paris, featuring a total of 24 teams from across the world and a $1 million prize pool.

These three Indian lineups earned podium finishes in the Free Fire Max India CUP (FFMIC) 2026 Spring, held in March and April this year. Team Apex Gaming recently acquired the ex-Team Hind lineup, who lifted the coveted trophy in the event. S8UL signed ex-Rider United’s squad, who were the runner-up there.

Free Fire, a battle royale mobile game, has been banned in India since February 2022. However, the Max version of the game is available in the country. Garena hosts all official tournaments in India using the Max version. The FFMIC 2026 Fall is currently underway in the country.
