Terrion Arnold has finally met the consequences of his latest actions.
On Monday, the Detroit Lions were announced to have cut the third-year cornerback after his implication in a kidnapping and robbery case in Largo, Florida. The decision came on the same day as his pretrial hearing, where he received a $1-million bond on condition that he “cannot have any contact with co-defendants or witnesses, must surrender his passport, and must remain at home or work.”

The charges against Arnold date to a February incident centered around an Airbnb that he and his friends had been renting.
That place was burglarized twice while the group was away, with the thieves coming away with multiple items, including $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace and a cellphone registered to Arnold. The group suspected their driver Yan Lopez of being involved, but rather than let the police investigation run its course, they decided to act extrajudicially.
With Arnold’s girlfriend Arianna Del Valle as “bait”, the group lured Lopez and two others to an apartment, where they were attacked, held at gunpoint, and divested of their wallets and phones.

Nick Saban writes letter supporting Terrion Arnold amidst kidnapping, robbery case
In a related development, Terrion Arnold gained another supporter amid his troubles in Nick Saban.
In one of 11 character letters the athlete submitted to the court, the former Alabama head coach admitted to not being “overly familiar” with the case, but affirmed that he was still “committed to supporting” his former charge:
“I first met Terrion when he joined my program in 2021. From the beginning, he stood out — not only because of his athletic ability, but because of who he was off the field. Based on my experiences with Terrion, I’ve always believed he leads with genuine care for the people around him.”
He continued:
“In all the time I have known him, he never once gave me cause to question his conduct, his integrity, or his respect for others. I don’t ever recall him being involved in any behavior that would be described as aggressive or irresponsible.”
As of this writing, no future court dates regarding Arnold’s case have been set.
