Brandon Tatum has recently slammed people who have publicly criticized Erika Kirk while calling themselves Charlie Kirk’s friends.
For the unversed, Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, while he was delivering a speech at Orem’s Utah Valley University. Around a week after the right wing activist’s death, his wife Erika Kirk was declared the CEO of Turning Point USA.
After the death of Charlie Kirk, Erika became the constant focal point of criticism for several political commentators like Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes and the like.
In a recent episode of The Officer Tatum Show, the eponymous host slammed Erika Kirk’s critics who allegedly called themselves Charlie Kirk’s close confidants. Referring to Erika as his “brother’s wife,” he said:
“Ain’t she off limits, bro? You can’t talk about her now that you got a problem with me. That’s how I want my friend to treat my wife when I.. if I pass away. Then I know you got my back and you gonna take care of me. Make sure my wife’s good. If the man didn’t love Erica, he wouldn’t have been married to her.”
Tatum further asked why Erika’s critics didn’t raise their voices when Charlie was alive.
“I knew Charlie. Y’all didn’t know Charlie. I spent time with Charlie. Y’all never knew Charlie. I knew Charlie before y’all even knew anything about TSA and politics? I considered him to be a friend to me. You think I don’t want to know who killed him? First time I’ve ever cried in my life publicly, and my wife had never seen me cry before, until Charlie died, and I was on the live stream, and I cried. You think I don’t want justice for Charlie. I’ve been supporting them before Charlie met Erica Kirk.”
The clip of Brandon Tatum ripping Erika Kirk’s critics apart has amassed over 150k impressions on X.
When Erika Kirk opened up about her constant criticism following Charlie Kirk’s assassination

During a conversation with Karoline Leavitt at a TPUSA event at George Washington University, Erika Kirk addressed the “endless onslaught” she was facing after Charlie Kirk’s death. The 37-year-old spoke about her critics while talking about her experience of mothering a child.
“There will be people that are like, ‘Did you see what they’re saying about you on X?’ And I’m like, ‘No, I quite frankly I don’t have time.’ And actually, quite frankly, I really do not care. I am actually really busy right now playing MAGNA-TILES, and that is way more important than hearing the endless onslaught that really is just noise,” said Erika Kirk.

Even Donald Trump came in support of Erika after Druski’s viral act which seemingly resembled her. For the unversed, Druski uploaded a video in March titled “How Conservative Women in America Act.” In the clip, the comedian seemed to be dressed like Erika Kirk.
Following Druski’s act, Trump seemingly addressed the issue during his Easter Speech on April 1. The POTUS advised Erika to sue her critics.
“You’re doing well, right? Okay. I think you should sue him, but you know. I told her you’re to sue somebody. They’re so jealous of Erika. I said, you ought to sue, I can say — you’re not allowed to say this — you have to be nicer. Sue their a** off.”
However, no lawsuit has been filed against Druski for seemingly mocking Kirk as of writing.
