WWE fans have lashed out at Cody Rhodes after his recent meeting. The American Nightmare recently lost his Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions and is now eyeing a return to the top.
But amidst this, he is facing backlash from fans over his recent actions. During this week’s episode of RAW, it was revealed that Rhodes and other WWE names appeared alongside U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in an event restoring the Presidential Fitness Test.
Thanks for the submission!
The event took place at the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, confirming the return of the Presidential Fitness Test. Later, Rhodes took to X to post photos from his appearance, in which he can be seen posing alongside RFK Jr.
This didn’t go down well with WWE fans, who flooded the comment section and criticized Rhodes for aligning himself with the current regime.
A fan labeled it as disgusting, writing that they believed the former WWE Champion was better than this.
“Absolutely disgusting @CodyRhodes. I thought you were better than this, I guess I was wrong.”

Another user called him out for posing with RFK Jr. and said his late father, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, would be disappointed.
Fans continued to bash Rhodes in the comments and you can check some other reactions below:

Cody Rhodes reveals the terrifying aspect of being on WWE’s main roster
Cody Rhodes recently interviewed SmackDown star Fallon Henley on his What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast. During the conversation, Rhodes talked about how NXT prepares the next generation of stars for a main roster run.
He said while the system is helpful, it doesn’t teach wrestlers time management on TV. He said this is one “terrifying” aspect that stars only learn when they get to the main roster.
Cody Rhodes mentioned that the tight run time on TV means wrestlers have to get things done quickly and in the right order, and you cannot get mad at people who are tasked with ensuring things go smoothly.
The 41-year-old star then said it is something that Henley has done well since getting called up from NXT.
