Two AEW stars officially form a new tag team

Top AEW stars join forces to take on a major tag team in Tony Khan’s company. ROH has been a home for many new ideas in the past few years. If the trial is successful, it will then be brought to AEW TV. The same thing could happen as two dynamic names, Robyn Renegade and Trish Adora, are paired as a tag team.

For the first time, Robyn and Trish Adora teamed up on ROH. Renegade has been wrestling in All Elite Wrestling since 2021. She teamed up with Charlotte Renegade until 2024. After that, she has been a singles star. Trish is a part of Shane Taylor Promotions and has been dominating the Ring of Honor for the past couple of years. This year, she made certain appearances in the company along with her stable.

The two faced Maya World and Hyan, the recently seasoned tag team. Maya became a breakthrough star in the last month as she reached the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and battled against Mercedes Moné for the Owen Hart Cup. Despite her great efforts, she couldn’t defeat the former TBS Champion. It seems Maya is returning to the tag team division after her unsuccessful singles run.

On the recent edition of ROH, Trish Adora and Robyn Renegade teamed up against Maya and Hyan. After an excellent contest, the latter team picked up the victory on the show. Despite being on the losing side, fans loved Trish and Robyn’s new tag team.

Robyn Renegade’s tag partner, Charlott,e has been absent from AEW

Charlotte Renegade debuted in AEW with Robyn. However, she hasn’t been seen in the ring since 2024.

While speaking on Women’s Wrestling Talk in 2024, Charlotte claimed that she would be taking a six-month hiatus due to a ‘small incident’. However, after a few years, she is still sitting on the sidelines.

“At the start of the year, I had a small incident occur that put me out for six months. We’re quickly approaching that six months now, but what I’ve been doing during that six months is I learned how to cut hair. I’ve become a barber, as kinda like a side job while I’m out. I’m here and I’m supporting Robyn and trying to help her behind the scenes as much as I can, trying to be there for her as much as I can,” she said.

It will be interesting to see what is next for Trish and Robyn’s tag team.
