NFL analyst calls out Brandon Aiyuk after dragging at Jayden Daniels’ mom Regina in contract saga with 49ers

San Francisco 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk appeared to take a dig at Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels in a video he uploaded on his Instagram story on Saturday. In the clip, Aiyuk claimed that Daniels had told him that since he was going to join the Commanders, the WR needed to follow the QB’s “rules” and that he’s a “grown a*s man” before referencing the Washington star’s mother, Regina.

When NFL analyst Warren Sharp caught wind of the video, he called out Aiyuk while slamming the 49ers receiver.

“telling a franchise QB ‘you’re on my team now you’re gonna follow my rules’?complete psychopath,” Sharp tweeted.

Aiyuk appeared to take shots at Daniels after a viral video earlier this week showed the Washington QB laughing when a fan yelled “f*ck Brandon Aiyuk” toward him.

Aiyuk and Daniels have also reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram.

In the past few weeks, Brandon Aiyuk has been pushing for a move away from the 49ers. The wideout is also calling for the Commanders to sign him this offseason.

Aiyuk’s last game for San Francisco was in Week 5 of the 2024 season, when he tore his MCL and LCL in a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. In July last year, the 49ers voided the 2026 guaranteed money in the receiver’s contract.

Although Aiyuk is under contract with the 49ers through the 2028 season, it remains to be seen if he will ever don the team’s colors again.
