Weapons

  • AK74 Assault Rifle: The AK74 is the best early-game weapon in Wardogs. This AR allows you to take engagements at low-to-medium ranges, making it a versatile pick for any encounter. If you haven’t unlocked the AK74 yet, you can use the T-21 AR in the meantime.
  • PP-19 VITYAZ: The PP-19 is an SMG that allows you to shred enemies at close quarters. If you’re sticking with a squad that moves from building to building, or are simply defending your towers, consider picking this weapon up. You can also switch to the AMP-9 if you haven’t unlocked this one yet.

Gear

  • Level 1 Helmet: You need to live to be useful to your allies. For this reason, consider getting a helmet so snipers can’t kill you easily.
  • Field Backpack: Stock up your Field Backpack with healing items to support allies. The Scout Backpack has fewer slots, so you’re at a disadvantage as a Medic if you use that.
  • Small TAC Vest: The vest adds extra quick-use slots. You’ll need these slots to quickly swap between healing items.

Items

  • Bandages: Carry a healing item to recover health after battle. You’ll also need these to heal your allies.
  • Field Resuscitator: The Field Resuscitator (FR) allows you to quickly revive allies. Unlike the Emergency Resuscitator, you can purchase multiple units of the FRs and can then carry them to battle to revive allies.
  • Defibrillator: The Defibrillator revives allies fastest, but requires batteries to function. Still, this is the best revive tool, especially if you want to quickly revive and bail.
