The Enchanted Tree is one of the main features of the new Enchanted Forest biome in Steal An Egg. It gives you access to an exclusive secret area containing several features used for the new butterfly and mutation systems. However, the Enchanted Tree is locked when you first enter the biome. You first need to find Wisp and complete its entire questline.
Here’s how to unlock the Enchanted Tree and what you can find inside it.
How to get Wisp in Steal An Egg
The first step is finding Wisp inside the Enchanted Forest. Wisp only spawns for players with at least 50 billion Speed. Its location is marked by a yellow circle, making the NPC relatively easy to spot once you meet the requirement. Interact with Wisp to start the Grow Your Wisp questline. You begin with Wisp at Stage 1 and need to complete three quests to reach Stage 4.
The three quests must be completed one after another. You cannot skip a quest or work on the later quests before completing the previous one.
Quest 1: Steal 20 Enchanted Forest Eggs
Steal 20 Enchanted Forest Eggs and bring them back to your base. The Enchanted Forest requires 50 billion Speed, although Speed boosts from the ongoing event shop can help if you are close to the requirement.
Quest 2: Fuse an Enchanted Forest Pet
For the second quest, get three identical Enchanted Forest pets and use them in the Fuse Machine. Fusing the three matching pets completes this part of Wisp’s questline.
Quest 3: Steal an Eternal Pet
The final quest requires you to steal an Eternal Pet. Wait for an Eternal Egg to spawn, then try to steal it from one of the available biomes. Once you complete the third quest, Wisp reaches Stage 4.
How to unlock the Enchanted Tree in Steal An Egg
After growing Wisp to Stage 4, travel back to the Enchanted Forest. The Enchanted Tree can be found behind the biome’s boss. Interact with the tree to unlock its exclusive secret area. You can then enter the room and access the features connected to the Enchanted Forest’s butterfly system.
What is inside the Enchanted Tree?
The secret area contains three important features: a Butterfly Net, a conversion center, and an Enchanted Mutation Shrine. The Butterfly Net is available for free in the center of the secret room. You will need it to catch butterflies during the Butterfly Bloom event that occurs every 30 minutes in the Enchanted Forest. Note that Butterflies will only appear for players who have unlocked the Enchanted Tree and claimed the Butterfly Net.
The Conversion Center lets you exchange lower-tier butterflies for higher-tier ones. The current rates are:
- 10 Emerald Butterflies = 1 Sapphire Butterfly
- 10 Sapphire Butterflies = 1 Amethyst Butterfly
- 50 Amethyst Butterflies = 1 Radiant Butterfly
This can be useful if you have an excess of one butterfly type but need another for the Enchanted Mutation recipe.
The Enchanted Mutation Shrine is where you can redeem the butterfly materials needed to obtain Enchanted Essence. The recipe requires:
- 240 Emerald Butterflies
- 115 Sapphire Butterflies
- 40 Amethyst Butterflies
- 1 Radiant Butterfly
Note that the Enchanted Essence guarantees the Enchanted Mutation when used on an Egg.
