Bayley wants to get involved in AEW star’s match

The former WWE Women’s Champion, Bayley showed interest in potentially being involved in an upcoming match featuring a top AEW star. The match is set to take place at the start of next month.

Bayley wants to be a part of the AEW star Kris Statlander‘s upcoming match. Kris is slated to take on Gabby Forza at the Create A Pro: Monumental Moment event on May 1st. While The Role Model has been with the WWE since 2013, she also has a lot of friends outside the promotion with whom she often interacts.

Reacting to a social media post about the announcement of AEW’s Kris Statlander vs Gabby Forza match, Bayley asked if she could be the special guest referee for the match. Interestingly, Gabby Forza took notice of the Role Model’s request and responded on the X social media platform, saying it could be actualizing a dream:

“BAYLEY AS SPECIAL GUEST REF FOR KRIST STAT VS GABBY FORZA 2026 IS THE YEAR OF ACTUALIZING DREAMS”

Bayley replied to Gabby Forza’s message on X with a GIF saying, “IT COULD HAPPEN.”

After Bayley dropped the above tease, many fans on the internet want to see her as the referee in the match on May 1st, but she is still under contract with the WWE.

Bayley on her relationship with a top AEW star

Bayley has been close friends with the top AEW star Mercedes Mone for a long time. Speaking with The Undertaker on the Six Feet Under podcast, the Role Model revealed how she became friends with the erstwhile Sasha Banks:

“So it’s kind of like a different kind of passion… Sami Zayn says it perfectly like, we’re the fans who took it too far, like we’re the biggest fans that took it too far because we’re actually doing it… This is one of the reasons why Mercedes and I got super close was because we were just like you know we can relate to it. Like “Oh my god you were a 10 year old and obsessed with wrestling”. So I have those relationships with a few of the girls in the locker room. “

Meanwhile, Bayley is in a tag team with Lyra Valkyrie, and only time will tell what’s next for her.
