The couple got engaged in 2018, with the 49ers secretly documenting the proposal. In an interesting twist, George and Claire eloped in April 2019 in Iowa City during a spontaneous ceremony held in a family friend’s jewelry store, officiated by George’s father with only immediate family present.
George Kittle’s wife Claire once opened up about a resolution she’s sticking to in 2026
Ahead of the start of 2026, Claire Kittle gave an exclusive interview with People magazine in January. While talking to the media house, she talked about the one resolution she practiced in 2025 and would carry forward in 2026.
“I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job of just trying to say yes to more opportunities and say yes to more things,” she said. “I feel like I know who I am and I just want to see where these opportunities may take me.”
“…….Just trying to get into that uncomfortable fear zone, because that’s when you can grow. That might be a simple [new year’s resolution], but it’s also a hard one to do,” she added.
Speaking of seizing new opportunities, Claire Kittle made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in February 2026 alongside Haley Cavinder, Normani, Brittany Mahomes, Christen Goff, and Ronika Love.
“In college, my husband was on the cover of Sports Illustrated for football,” she said per Sports Illustrated Swimsuit on Feb. 5. “So now, I get to have one, too.”
George Kittle‘s wife also collaborated with Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin, on “Wife’d Up, Mic’d Up.” The two toured and documented the entire 2025 NFL season, enjoying husbands’ games from various NFL stadiums.
