Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Liverpool say an agreement has been reached with the forward to end his “remarkable” nine-year stay at Anfield after this season concludes.
Salah had signed a new deal last April that was set to keep him at Anfield until 2027.
Liverpool’s statement read: “Salah expressed his wish to make this announcement to the supporters at the earliest possible opportunity to provide transparency about his future due to his respect and gratitude for them.”
