NFL fans rip Dion Dawkins for shading Sean McDermott

Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins hyped the team’s new coach, Joe Brady, during an interview with “Yahoo Sports” on Friday. However, in doing so, Dawkins appeared to throw shade at former Bills coach Sean McDermott, who was fired in January.

“We’re not in military uniforms like McD, which is also a great way of coaching,” Dawkins said. “It’s just a different course of your team.”

Fans on social media had some wild reactions to Dawkins’ comments about McDermott.

McDermott coached the Bills for nine seasons, posting a 98-50 record and an 8-8 record in the playoffs. He led Buffalo to five AFC East titles, but never took the team to a Super Bowl.
