Glasgow Rangers might still be lacking that clinical, 20-goal-a-season centre-forward at Ibrox, although that matters little considering the way Danny Rohl‘s men are shouldering the burden right now.
Across the Gers’ last two Premiership games, the title hopefuls have scored eight goals with eight different scorers, a positive sign of the real momentum that is building under the Rohl regime heading into this crunch stage of the season.
With Falkirk next up on the agenda, a side that the Light Blues haven’t beaten yet in 2025/26, that need to share the goals will be put to the test even more greatly, considering the raft of injury issues facing the away side.

Indeed, Rohl has something of a selection headache to solve ahead of Sunday’s clash, with the forward line potentially set to be particularly depleted.
Rangers facing potential injury crisis for Falkirk clash
The big talking point this week, following the 4-2 win over Dundee United, has been the injury status of deadline day arrival, Ryan Naderi, with the German striker forced off at half-time after opening the scoring on Saturday.
The Gers’ worst fears could well be realised, with Rohl hinting that his compatriot could miss the remainder of the campaign, after suffering what he described as a “serious injury“.
His absence for the entire title run-in isn’t a certainty, but the 22-year-old will definitely be out for the “next games”, representing a real blow after his first Premiership goal last time out.
A further frustration for Rangers will also be the continued absence of fellow winter signing, Tuur Rommens, with the Belgian again set to be absent, after sitting out the meeting with the Tangerines.
Rohl did state that the left-back is “much, much better“, although he will have to watch on again on Sunday, while there are also concerns over the fitness of both Mikey Moore and Andreas Skov Olsen on the flanks.
Rangers hit with quadruple injury blow in huge title boost for Hearts and Celtic
The Gers gained ground on the top spot last weekend but it came at a cost.
The pair – who started in last week’s win – are both said to be doubts for the game due to “small issues”, ensuring three of Rohl’s front four could well be missing this time around.
Rohl could unleash forgotten Rangers man amid injury crisis
In Naderi’s absence, the quick fix will likely be either Youssef Chermiti or Bojan Miovski, the latter man having sealed the points with his fifth Premiership goal of the season against Dundee United.
As for a potential replacement for Moore, it could be a chance for Djeidi Gassama to enjoy a start on his favoured left flank, with the ex-Sheffield Wednesday man having been so impressive off the bench last week.
Finding a solution on the right flank, in place of Skov Olsen, is perhaps a trickier task, however, ensuring Rohl could turn to something of a forgotten man, in the form of Oliver Antman.
The £3.5m signing from Go Ahead Eagles has not enjoyed a positive first season at Ibrox, it must be said, scoring just one goal in all competitions, while providing just four assists.
For a player who racked up 16 assists in Holland last term, that is a poor return, albeit with injury and a lack of regular game time no doubt a factor in his sharp decline.
The Finland international endured a particularly lengthy spell on the sidelines with an adductor injury over the festive period, having since made just three Premiership appearances in 2026, all of which have come from the bench.
His last league start came against Falkirk, ironically, as far back as late November, with the right-sided winger drifting into the periphery since then, firmly behind the likes of Skov Olsen and Gassama on that flank.
Considering the raft of potential injury issues facing Rohl, however, now could be the chance for Antman to get his opportunity again, with there having at least been flashes of his quality of late, including his goal and assist in the 5-1 thrashing of Kilmarnock.
As he showcased last term, after creating 16 ‘big chances’ in the Eredivisie, the 24-year-old can be a real creative weapon from the flanks, offering a more old-fashioned style of winger, rather than the left-footed Skov Olsen.
With the summer approaching, Antman is approaching last chance saloon in a Rangers shirt, with the trip to Falkirk likely to be a rare opportunity for him to impress.
Having racked up 22 goals and assists for his former employers in 2024/25, now’s the time to find that form for the Light Blues.
