39-year-old star deemed a better talker than 99% of WWE’s main roster

A 39-year-old star has been deemed a better talker than 99% of the people on WWE’s main roster. Mic skills go a long way in helping a talent get over, and some superstars do better on the mic than others.

Names like CM Punk and Kevin Owens instantly come to mind when talking about excellent speakers in the ring. Another name who is not with WWE currently but has always had charisma is Enzo Amore.

The Certified G was massively over as part of the tag team with Big Cass during the duo’s first run in the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, speaking on the Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray talked about how the tag team was popular from the moment they arrived on the main roster.

Ray then discussed the possibility of Enzo coming back to WWE to join Big Cass, who returned to the promotion earlier this month. The tag team legend said Enzo got a very bad reputation due to a previous situation, but he has worked hard on the independents since then.

“I think Enzo got a very, very, very bad rap years ago when that situation happened with him. I think Enzo has done a phenomenal job on his own, grinding, h*mping the indies, doing whatever he possibly can to keep his name out there, the use of social media,” he said.

Notably, the 39-year-old was let go by WWE in 2018 after allegations of s*xual assault against him. However, the allegations against him were dropped later. Bully Ray said that Enzo can talk on the mic and said he’s better in promos than the majority of the main roster.

“And as of right this very moment, where he’s probably either in Asbury Park or in Hoboken, New Jersey, he’s a better talker right now, with only social media exposure, than 99% of the guys on the [WWE] main roster,” he added.

Bully Ray pitches Enzo Amore’s WWE return

During the conversation on Busted Open, Bully Ray said he wants to see Big Cass being given the chance to succeed as a singles star.

He said the promotion could use a traditional big guy like him. However, he said if the run doesn’t work out, they can always call in Enzo Amore and have him team up with his former partner again.

Reportedly, the company wanted Enzo and Cass to return as a tag team but couldn’t agree on a deal in time with the Certified G.
