Liv Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble Match and went on to win the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42. That said, it has been over a month since The Show of Shows, and Morgan’s reign has been confusing.
Initially, it appeared that Vaquer and Morgan would be resuming their feud post-WrestleMania 42, as La Primera confronted The Miracle Kid on the following episode of RAW. However, The Dark Angel suffered a real-life injury, forcing the creative team to write her off television.
Thanks for the submission!
Vaquer getting sidelined left Liv Morgan without a challenger. The Miracle Kid currently has no challenger. As a result, her reign has suffered. She is still regularly appearing on television, but it’s mostly for The Judgment Day, and not for her reign.
Morgan has been spending most of her time helping Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in the tag team division. On the latest episode of RAW, The Miracle Kid took out Paige and Brie Bella following their match against Rodriguez and Perez before Bayley and Lyra Valkyria came out to save the tag team champions.
In this listicle, we will discuss four ways WWE can save The Miracle Kid’s reign as the Women’s World Champion.
#4. A feud with IYO SKY
IYO SKY could be the perfect challenger to help Liv Morgan’s title reign regain some momentum. SKY recently ended her rivalry with Asuka at Backlash 2026 with a major victory, and WWE could easily use that win as the reason for her moving back into the Women’s World Championship picture.
At the moment, neither woman really has a defined direction on RAW. Morgan has mostly been involved in Judgment Day and tag team segments, while SKY has no proper storyline on the red brand’s show.
That said, a feud between the two would instantly feel important because of IYO’s credibility. The Japanese star has consistently been presented as one of the top in-ring stars in the women’s division, and fans would likely view her as a genuine threat to Liv’s championship reign. More importantly, the rivalry would finally give Morgan’s reign a proper singles program.
#3. Push a young star into the main event scene
WWE could also use this period to elevate younger stars like Lyra Valkyria into the Women’s World Championship picture. With Stephanie Vaquer currently sidelined, RAW needs fresh challengers for Liv Morgan instead of keeping the title scene on hold.
Lyra feels like a strong option for that role. Since losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship last year, she has slowly lost momentum as a singles competitor. Most of her recent television time has come in the tag team division alongside Bayley.
That said, moving The Irish star back into a major singles storyline could help both women. The Miracle Kid would get a fresh challenger, while Lyra would get an opportunity to regain credibility as a singles star.
#2. Keeping Liv Morgan away from the tag team division
One of the biggest problems with Liv Morgan’s current title reign is that she has spent too much time around the tag team division instead of focusing on the Women’s World Championship scene.
Over the past few weeks, Morgan has regularly appeared alongside Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in Judgment Day segments. While that keeps her involved on television, it also makes the Women’s World Champion feel less important than she should.
That said, WWE needs to present Liv as the centerpiece of the RAW women’s division again. Keeping her involved in the tag team division is arguably hurting her reign as the world champion of the red brand.
While she is a part of The Judgment Day, and her involvement in Roxanne and Raquel’s feud makes sense, her main focus should be the Women’s World Title. Instead of staying connected to the tag team division, the creative team should have Liv Morgan interact with different stars, planting seeds for a potential showdown in the future.
#1. A match at Clash in Italy
Clash in Italy is now just over a week away, and Liv Morgan still does not have a match announced for the show. That is surprising, especially considering how popular she is with the Italian crowd.
WWE should make sure the Women’s World Champion is part of the event in some form. Even if the company does not want to rush a major title feud before Stephanie Vaquer returns, Morgan still needs something meaningful to do.
That said, a non-title match could work perfectly fine for now. Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, or even Sol Ruca could all be good opponents for Liv Morgan heading into the premium live event.
Moreover, simply getting Morgan back into a featured singles match would help her reign feel active again. Right now, the biggest issue with her title run is that it feels disconnected from the actual women’s division on RAW.
