After being in early access for nearly two and a half years, Palworld is now officially released with a massive Version 1.0 update. The Palworld 1.0 update brought an influx of players, and as Pocket Pair recommended, many of them began their journey anew on the Palpagos Islands.
However, the Palworld 1.0 update added 73 new Pals, with many of them locked behind the Sunreach and World Tree regions. If you have just started a new world, you might want to get your hands on the new Pals as soon as possible. Luckily, not all of them are out of reach for early-game players.
In this article, we have listed some new Palworld 1.0 Pals you can obtain fairly early in the game by encountering them in the wild.
Best new Palworld 1.0 Pals you can get early
1) Pupperai

Pupperai is a new adorable Ground-type, puppy-like Pal, but its cuteness isn’t the only thing going for it. Its passive skill, Best Boy, is one of the best skills you can have on your team in the early game. It increases the player’s melee weapon damage by 10% at level 1, and 35% at level 5.
Where to find Pupperai in Palworld 1.0?

You can find Pupperai spawning just north of the Hill of Beginnings, where you spawn in a new world. You can find this cute Pal roaming near the Level 38 Mammorest. Pupperai in this area are usually level 2-4, so you should be able to catch them quite easily.
2) Clovee

Clovee is another adorable Pal you can get early in the Palworld 1.0 update. This might be the best early-game Pal for your base. While at your base, Clovee’s passive skill, Happy Clover, increases every Pal’s Gathering Work Suitability by one level. This can be a massive time-saver, considering how slow the early game can be due to Pals with low Work Suitability.
Where to find Clovee in Palworld 1.0?

You can find Clovee spawning around the Rayne Syndicate Tower and north of the Small Settlement, which you will visit as part of the tutorial quests. Clovees found in these areas are usually level 3-9.
3) Amione

Amione is a new Water Pal, and its ability is similar to Clovee’s. Instead of Gathering, it increases the Watering Work Suitability level of all Pals in your base by one. Watering is required for many functions in your base, such as plantations and the Crusher. If you would like to speed up the process, catch an Amione.
Where to find Amione in Palworld 1.0?

Amione spawns in the waters southwest of the Bridge of the Twin Knights. You can reach here by going west of the Desolate Church. Amiones spawning here are usually level 9-10.

4) Tanzee Ignis

Tanzee, the Pal known for turning into an assault rifle, got a Fire variant in the Palworld 1.0 update. If you are struggling to find a strong offensive Pal, then Tanzee Ignis can be a decent pick for the early game. At Technology Level 13, you can unlock Tanzee Ignis’ Assault Rifle and turn this Pal into a fiery assault rifle.
Where to find Tanzee Ignis in Palworld 1.0?

Tanzee Ignis spawns around the Desolate Church and the Level 15 Alpha Penking, both of which are located just ahead of the Rayne Syndicate Tower. Tanzee Ignis found here are usually level 10-12.
5) Wispaw

Wispaw is an extremely useful Dark Pal added in Version 1.0. This Pal has a unique passive skill called Death-Cheating Feline, which increases Pal capture rate. It also has Level 2 Handiwork, helpful for speeding up the crafting process in the early game.
Where to find Wispaw in Palworld 1.0?

Wispaw spawns across many early-game areas in Palworld. You can find Wispaw spawning west of the Small Settlement, around the Desolate Church, and across most of Marsh Island. Wispaw spawning here will be level 11-12.
