According to Fabrizio Romano, Como has agreed a deal in principle to sign Yan Couto from Borussia Dortmund.
The Brazilian full-back is set to join the Serie A club on loan until June 2027, with Como expected to cover his salary during the spell.
Couto only joined Borussia Dortmund on a permanent basis after his move from Manchester City, but he is now close to leaving the Bundesliga club in search of a fresh opportunity.
Como has been active in the market and is looking to strengthen Cesc Fabregas’ squad ahead of the new season. Couto would add pace, attacking quality and top-level experience on the right side.
The 24-year-old previously impressed during his time at Girona, where he became one of La Liga’s most productive attacking full-backs.
A move to Como would give Couto the chance to rebuild momentum in Serie A, while Dortmund would reduce its wage bill and create space in the squad.
