Popular Kick streamer Adin Ross has called out MrBeast over the $40 million raised for TeamWater, questioning how the money was spent and demanding a full audit of the campaign. Adin also vowed to apologize to the YouTube star if he can provide receipts showing where the money went.
The controversy resurfaced after MrBeast shared a one-year update on TeamWater, highlighting the progress made since the charity campaign raised millions to provide clean drinking water. Jimmy directly tagged Adin in the post, asking him to watch the video on stream. Here is what MrBeast commented:
“Yo @adinross I’d love for you to watch this on stream!”
Reacting to the video during his recent stream, a clip of which was shared by @Awk20000, Adin questioned the scale of the results compared to the amount raised. He said:
“If $40 million was raised, why is there only one well? I’m expecting a f***** water park.”
Adin Ross then made it clear that he wanted to see exactly where the money went and called for an audit of the campaign.
“Let’s do an audit. Chat, you know you will never do it. Let’s do an audit. Let’s see where all the 40 million went. Show receipts and do a full audit.”
The streamer went a step further and promised to apologize to MrBeast if the audit proves that the money was properly spent on providing water.
“If you do an audit, I will apologize.”
While Adin acknowledged that he would be happy if the money had genuinely been used for its intended purpose, he said donors deserved more detailed information about the spending.
“If everyone’s happy with this, I’m happy. All right? Seriously, I’m happy that this is what we got out of this.”
The Kick ambassador also suggested that future charity streams he participates in should be conducted in the United States. He remarked:
“Any charity stream that I ever do again, it needs to be done in America.”
Adin Ross says MrBeast should have tagged Ray after TeamWater dispute
Adin Ross also brought up another streamer, Ray, also known as RayAsianBoy, who had previously questioned MrBeast about TeamWater. In a clip shared by @notCloutbay, Ray appeared to question MrBeast over the campaign’s budget, with MrBeast responding that he would be willing to show him the progress.
Because of this, Adin questioned MrBeast in the same stream for specifically tagging him in the latest TeamWater update while seemingly not doing the same with Ray.
“MrBeast, you didn’t tag Ray. Ray asked as well. You didn’t tag anybody. You only tagged me.”
The latest comments add another chapter to the ongoing tension between Adin Ross and MrBeast, which started after Jimmy did not invite the Kick streamer to his $1 million video.
