Diablo 4 Season 14 is making a major, important change to War Plans, so players will be able to easily sync up their activities. Instead of constantly dropping group in Party Finder, and looking for a new party doing the same boss or activity, just to make grouping easier, Blizzard updated this system, which was only recently added in the Lord of Hatred expansion. This is a massive change for people that prefer to group, instead of just soloing.
If you don’t care about playing solo, or especially the new Solo Self-Found game mode, and prefer to run War Plans in a party in Diablo 4, you can easily sync them up with others, to make sure you are all doing the same things, for the same reward types.
How to sync War Plans with a party in Diablo 4 Season 14
Arguably one of the biggest changes in Diablo 4 Season 14 will be the ability to sync up War Plans with a party. Not only will this be easy to do, it’s also quite painless. It doesn’t matter what your War Plan level is, what your Campaign Completion or Torment difficulty is, either. In fact, someone with a higher level War Plan could in theory use this to help level up friends by doing activities that help level them up.

By syncing your War Plans in D4, everyone in your party will receive a War Plan that matches. In order to do this at all, everyone in the party must be in Temis. By doing this, the party leader will see the prompt New Plan for Party. This costs 2 Marks of El’Druin, and since your Marks refill after finishing a War Plan, this is easy to get.
When a party member selects New Plan for Party, the party will get a vote notification. If the vote passes, the person who set up the vote will have a new War Plan scheduled, and that one will be shared automatically to the other party members. This means everyone in the party has the same activities, and can easily work together towards the same goals.
The way it works pre-Season 14, is that players always have different War Plans activities, so if you’re trying to fight Astaroth, for example, the odds are you’ll leave that Party Finder group behind afterwards, because your next activity will almost certainly be different. For players that want to work together and grind in an easier way, that makes sense, this is going to be the ideal way to play going forward.
