Drew McIntyre shows off incredible body transformation amid WWE hiatus

Drew McIntyre showed off his incredible body transformation amid his absence from WWE. The former champion has not competed in a match since WrestleMania 42 earlier this year in Las Vegas.

McIntyre went on hiatus following his loss to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned match at The Show of Shows. The Scottish Warrior has been filming two movies during his hiatus, including the Highlander reboot and The Last Druid alongside Russell Crowe. He took to social media today to show off the positive changes he has made to his physique, and you can check it out in the photo below.

“Positive changes,” he wrote.

Drew McIntyre had a brief reign as Undisputed WWE Champion earlier this year but dropped the title to Cody Rhodes ahead of WrestleMania 42. Jacob Fatu tried to capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns after his victory over McIntyre at WrestleMania but failed on multiple occasions.

The Samoan Werewolf lost to Reigns at Backlash 2026 and then again in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy. Fatu was forced to join The Bloodline following his loss to Reigns in the Tribal Combat match. The Bloodline is involved in an intense rivalry with Royce Keys’ 946 faction on RAW. Jaida Parker officially joined 946 this past Monday night and ran over Jacob Fatu with her car in the parking lot.

WWE star Drew McIntyre pays tribute to PAC

Drew McIntyre shared a heartfelt tribute to AEW star PAC, formerly known as Neville in WWE, following his tragic passing.

PAC passed away this past Sunday at only 40 years old. McIntyre shared a tribute to The Man That Gravity Forgot and noted that he would be remembered as a great person in addition to his work in the ring.

“Even though the situation is just horrible and not fair. Everyone’s just so positive about him, cause there’s not a bad word you can say about him after over two decades in this industry. And after all that time and things not always going your way, you can get pretty jaded, but he never did. He kept his passion and he kept being a good person, and look at the way he’s remembered,” he said.

Only time will tell when Drew McIntyre will make his return to WWE television.
