Recent reports from the Polish outlet, PPE.PL, suggest GTA 6 physical discs could be made available from December 2026, a month after the game’s official launch. Many fans were not stoked to find out that the game’s physical copies will not include discs. However, it was soon reported by the outlet that physical disc editions could drop a month or two after initial release.
Here are more details about GTA 6 physical discs reportedly arriving post-launch.
Note: Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed or mentioned anything about physical discs for the game. Readers are advised to take this information with a grain of salt.
Rockstar Games reportedly planning to release GTA 6 physical discs after launch
A few hours after Rockstar Games revealed information about editions and pre-order timings, a Polish webpage ppe.pl, reported that their insider claims GTA 6 physical discs could be available for purchase from December 2026.
In the report, they stated that Graczdari, their insider, claims that the digital codes inside the physical boxes will soon expire. The new physical copies post-launch will come with a disc containing the code to download and play the game.
Soon, reputed insider Tom Henderson also covered this report on his website, Insider Gaming. However, he was a bit skeptical about the Polish outlet’s overall accuracy.

PPE.PL’s insider, Graczdari’s claims and reports have also been shaky in the past. The individual’s leaks have been both accurate and false. Their claim about physical discs not releasing at the initial launch was accurate. However, their Best Buy leaks claims on GTAForums were false.
Hence, nothing about GTA 6 physical discs is currently certain. Furthermore, it is well known by now that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive do not like any level of leaks at all, particularly after past incidents. That is why they could change the physical disc release timelines just to retain the element of surprise.
