WrestleMania 42 Night 1 was filled with some exciting moments and major shocks. The Night featured some shocking title changes including the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and the Women’s World Championship. WWE Veteran and Spanish commentator Marcello Rodriguez recently spoke about an incident that took place on last night’s show.
Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 kickstarted with a 6-Man Tag Team match pitching The Vision and IShowSpeed against LA Knight and The Usos. During the match, the streaming sensation Speed tried to avoid LA Knight for a long time. However, in the closing moments of the match, Austin Theory tried to force Speed to attack the Megastar. This actually cost the Vision their match as Knight took advantage and hit Theory with a BFT to win the match.

Following their loss, the Vision turned on Speed as Logan Paul attacked Speed. However, the Usos and Knight came out to save the streaming sensation from Paul. The trio then motivated Speed to exact revenge on the Maverick. They cleared the announcer’s table and put Paul on it for Speed to hit him with an IShow Splash. This was one of the most viral moments from last night’s WrestleMania.
In the WrestleMania 42 Night 2 pre-show, WWE English Commentator Michael Cole was in conversation with the Spanish announcer Marcello Rodriguez. During the conversation, Cole mentioned how the Spanish announcer’s desk wasn’t broken even once last night. Marcello was very happy that he was safe from the action taking place in the ring.
“It was about time, you know how many times I’ve jumped over the barricade to save my life? And I spoke with Danhausen, so you are cursed,” he said.
It’s hilarious to see how the commentators are scared of getting caught up in the action taking place on the ringside. It will be interesting to see what kind of chaos will take place on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 tonight and if the Spanish announcer’s desk will break for the first time on the show.
