After her thrilling undisputed championship clash with Ellie Scotney, Mayelli Flores has signed with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).
Irma Garcia, who knocked out Emma Dolan to defend the IBF super-flyweight title on the same bill, has also joined MVP.
They have made the move to the promoter along with unified WBO, WBA, and IBF light-flyweight champion Evelin Bermudez, Mexico’s WBC light-fly titlist Lourdes Juarez and American bantamweight Brittany Sims.
Flores is a former WBA super-bantamweight world champion from Mexico City. Standing at 4’11”, Flores turned professional in 2014 and has built a reputation for high pressure and punch volume inside the ring.
After an early career highlighted by a narrow world title challenge against Yulihan Luna, Flores defeated Nazarena Romero by split decision in Kissimmee, Florida, to capture the WBA 122lb crown in May of last year.
Known for her toughness, stamina, and willingness to trade in the pocket, the 33-year-old Flores represents Mexico with pride as she continues her rise among the sport’s elite. Flores made her MVP debut on MVPW-01, facing Ellie Scotney in the double main event for the undisputed world title in an instant classic.

“Together, these signings mark a major step forward in cementing MVP as the global home of women’s boxing. By deepening our investment in Argentina, Mexico, and the US, we’re not only building a roster of elite talent, but also creating the matchups fans want to see, elevating the sport on a global scale.
“We’re proud to provide these athletes the platform, visibility, and opportunities they deserve and look forward to their promotional debuts soon, beginning with Lourdes Juarez on our quadruple championship main card at MVPW-03 on Saturday, May 30.”
