Massive WWE contract update on Bayley

There has been a huge update regarding Bayley’s WWE contract situation. The veteran suffered a loss at Saturday Night’s Main Event over the weekend at Madison Square Garden.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Bayley’s contract is rumored to be expiring at the end of the year, unless there is injury time added. The report noted The Role Model has not agreed to a new contract with the company yet.

Fightful’s report disclosed that WWE is expected to try and re-sign the former champion, but there is also expected to be strong interest from All Elite Wrestling. An agent also suggested to the publication that the former leader of Damage CTRL should at least test the market, as she could be the star that sets the standard for following deals.

As of now, WWE rarely offers no-cut deals or guaranteed years, but the agent speculated that the former Women’s Royal Rumble winner could potentially change that with her upcoming negotiations.

Lyra Valkyria defeated the popular star at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The two stars used to be in a tag team, but Valkyria betrayed the veteran after they failed to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships last month on RAW. Valkyria choked out her former tag team partner to win the match and then slammed her on top of the steel steps following her victory.

WWE star claims she is not losing any sleep after betraying Bayley

WWE RAW star Lyra Valkyria recently claimed that she was not losing any sleep after turning her back on Bayley.

In an interview on RAW last month, The Bird Lady suggested that she wasn’t stressed out about the betrayal and wondered why everyone was so upset.

“Why is everyone so on my back about what happened in London? It takes two to lose a tag team title match, and Bayley and I both let the frustration get the better of us. I just think it’s so unfair that I let the anger get the better of me one time, and everyone just forgets that I’ve been the bigger person for a year. I’m not proud of what happened, but I’m not losing any sleep over it either,” she said.
