Colony Rush is a challenging gamemode introduced by Re:Rangers X Update 4.5. It consists of four Colonies or stages, each having three Acts that give diverse rewards. Act 3 of every Colony has a Jujutsu Kaisen-inspired character as a potential reward and they are crucial for completing a special questline.

How to begin Colony Rush in Re:Rangers X
In Re:Rangers X, you can access Colony Rush by interacting with the Curse Manipulator NPC. This character is close to the Ghoul Hunt NPC in the lobby.
Following your first interaction with the character, either the Surota, Gochu, or Kage Colony will be unlocked. Hit the Play button to enter the stage and complete all their Acts to get units, evo items, and tokens.
How to progress in Re:Rangers X Colony Rush
The Colony Rush mode features four Colonies, which are special stages where players have to clear waves of enemies. A Colony has three Acts and each of them either gives evolution items, currencies, or a unit.
The four Colonies are Gochu, Surota, Kage, and Sendai. However, the Sendai Colony is only unlocked when a player completes 10 quests associated with the new mode. To get the special questline, interact with the Curse Manipulator and hit the violet button on the right side.
Once you speak to the Curse Manipulator, a random Colony from Gochu, Surota, and Kage is unlocked. Each of the three Acts in a Colony has a specific prize:
- Act 1: Gives Colony Tokens or evolution items
- Act 2: Gives evolution items
- Act 3: Gives an exclusive character, which always has a 2% drop chance
The rewards from a specific Act are added directly to your inventory.
An Act in the Colony Rush features 10 waves consisting of enemies with different Elements and abilities. The waves get progressively tougher, often compelling players to upgrade and reposition their characters on the map.
Colony Tokens earned by completing Acts in this mode can be spent in the Colony Shop. This store has Rule Makers for Surota, Gochu, and Kage, which are important for unlocking Colonies. So, after finishing the Acts in Kage, you’ll need to spend tokens on a Rule Maker for Surota or Gochu Colony.

What is the questline for Colony Rush?
The special questline for unlocking the Sendai Colony requires you to clear Acts, evolve units, and kill enemies in the new mode. Here are all the missions for accessing Sendai, which is the hardest stage in Colony Rush:
- Clear Gochu Colony (Acts 1 to 3)
- Clear Surota Colony (Acts 1 to 3)
- Clear Kage Colony (Acts 1 to 3)
- Kill 10,000 enemies in Surota Colony
- Clear Kage Colony Act 1 a 100 times
- Die 100 times in Gochu Colony
- Clear Gochu Colony 35 times using only 3 units
- Evolve Potential Man
- Evolve Muki
- Evolve Cursed Lawyer
Some items for evolving the aforementioned units can be obtained from the Colony Rush itself. For instance, the Cursed Lawyer character is a reward from Act 3 of Gochu Colony, while its evolution items can be obtained from the rest of the Gochu Acts.
