Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.’s wife, Maria Laborde, drew social media attention after posting a fit check on her Instagram Stories. She wore a pink strapless bandeau top with high-waisted shorts in the mirror selfie. Maria tied her hair up with a white headband, with half of it in a long braid.
She further accessorized her outfit with a bracelet as she held the phone for the selfie. The image and the short clip were taken in a locker room setting rather than a studio. Two frames went up in color and one in black and white; in the last of them, she raised an arm in a flexed pose.

Maria Laborde is Venezuelan and was crowned Miss Teen Carabobo in 2015, building a following since on modelling work and on fashion and gym content. She married Acuña on Aug. 31, 2023, and the couple has two sons, Ronald Daniel and Jamal.
The couple met in Venezuela in 2019, though the wedding itself came together in about a day. Laborde and the couple’s sons were facing a three-month absence from the United States under their visa conditions, so Acuña’s business manager booked Whispering Oaks in Agoura Hills, California, at short notice.
He hit a grand slam against the Los Angeles Dodgers hours after the ceremony. In that same season, he also became the first MLB player with 30 home runs and 60 stolen bases.

A couple of days ago, Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr.’s wife, Maria Laborde, shared glimpses from an outdoor photoshoot. In the post shared on her Instagram, she was seen standing beside a car with its red interior showing through the open door. The area seemed to be a parking lot with a Dillard’s storefront lit up behind her.
Maria wore a long-sleeved white cropped top and loose camouflage cargo pants. She paired the outfit with chunky white sneakers, a small white handbag with gold hardware and a gold bracelet. Her caption was two emojis, a white heart and a sparkle: “🤍✨”.
The two looks pull in opposite directions. The gym set is fitted and athletic; the parking-lot frame is loose and unhurried, taken from several steps back so the open car door and the bright shops fill the space around her.
Baseball still finds its way in. MLB’s official Instagram account shared a clip of Laborde in the stands with the couple’s sons, blowing Acuña a kiss while the boys called out to him:

In the clip, Acuña is seen motioning back towards them. Family posts will have more room now that the season is over. Atlanta Braves‘ season ended on Oct. 7 with a 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Division Series.
Ronald Acuña Jr. went 2-for-15 in that series. He remains under club control through 2028, with the Braves holding $17 million options on him for each of the next two seasons.
