Tony Khan comments on WWE running two shows against AEW All In

AEW All In is set to take place on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London. It is the biggest All Elite pay-per-view of the year. On the same day, WWE will be running a AAA show and NXT Heatwave, which many fans believe is an attempt to counter-program All In.

Speaking on the Forbidden Door media scrum, Tony Khan said that he is aware of WWE running shows on the day of All In. However, he is hoping to deliver an incredible edition of All In that has the potential to amaze the fans. The AEW President called it a prestigious opportunity to have a show at Wembley Stadium.

“There’s a lot of prestige going back to Wembley Stadium. I think it’s going to be a great, great night for AEW. I can’t speak to what the other promotions are doing, but I did see that announcement. I saw that with our own show going on tonight. Not a lot that I can do other than I just hope we have a very good show and to plan and prepare that we have a very good show for AEW All In London,” said Khan. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
