Wolves eyeing new forward with Arokodare’s future in doubt
It is little wonder Wolves are looking to bring in a new forward in the summer, as they have struggled for goals throughout the campaign, with none of their players netting more than three times in the Premier League.

Journalist Nathan Judah has also revealed Arokodare’s future at Molineux is now up in the air, following an incident involving Mateus Mane after the heavy loss against West Ham United.
“It is my understanding that following the 4-0 defeat at West Ham last week, there was a verbal altercation between Tolu Arokodare & Mateus Mane in the dressing room. That altercation became significantly physical with Arokodare being the sole aggressor.
“He has since been fined by the club & was an unused substitute on Saturday in the 3-0 defeat at Leeds. The Nigerian international’s future at the club is in considerable doubt heading into the summer.”
With Arokodare potentially set to leave, the Old Gold are now ramping up their pursuit of a new forward, and a report from Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) reveals they have made an offer for Frosinone winger Ghedjemis.
Celtic tried to sign the Algerian during the January transfer window, but Frosinone convinced him to turn down a move to Parkhead, and he has continued to impress during the second half of the campaign.
The France-born forward has been in red-hot form as of late, taking his Serie B goal tally for the season to 14 after bagging a brace against Modena last time out.
The 23-year-old has made an impression on Chebli Ishaq too, with the scout describing him as “magnificent” after scoring against Carrarese back in November.
Wolves also targeting midfielders for summer midfield
Although Ghedjemis is showing promising signs, he has been playing in the second tier of Italian football, and Rob Edwards may need to bring in players with Championship experience if his side are to mount a promotion push next season.
Wolves have been showing serious interest in signing Dan Neil, who will be available on a free transfer upon the expiration of his Sunderland contract this summer, and the 24-year-old has two promotions to his name with the Black Cats.
BK Hacken midfielder Silas Andersen is more of a left-field target, with the Danish youngster yet to prove himself in one of Europe’s major leagues.
