WWE Veteran Goes Off On Viral AEW Collision Spot

AEW has had a great year so far. Last month, they held Dynasty 2026 in Vancouver, Canada, and the event was well-received by fans. They are currently preparing to host Double or Nothing 2026 in Queens, New York. The pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

All Elite Wrestling is one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world. Many clips from their shows go viral on social media, and it happened again recently. The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong) locked horns with MxM TV (Mansoor & Mason Madden and Johnny TV) on the latest episode of Collision. Cassidy, O’Reilly, and Strong won with conviction, but one spot from this showdown is going viral on X. This clip received a scrutinizing response from WWE legend Val Venis.

The above match saw the Freshly Squeezed star sitting on Strong’s shoulder and delivering a comical choke slam to Mansoor. The Saudi-American native landed outside the ring onto his tag team partner, Madden. Many enjoyed this spot. However, Val Venis was critical. The former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion buried modern wrestling with his comment.

“Well…… Wrestling has evolved into what exactly?” wrote Venis.

The 55-year-old retired from in-ring competition in 2023. Danny Morrison defeated him in his last ever match in ISPW Rock N’ Wrestling.

Former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy’s dream WWE opponent is Bad Bunny

Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny has wrestled multiple matches in WWE. The 32-year-old is a talented in-ring competitor. Although he has not entered the squared circle since 2023, fans are quite certain that he hasn’t retired.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM Sports, Orange Cassidy said that if there is a Forbidden Door between WWE and AEW, he would like to lock horns with the King of Latin Trap.

“If there was a Forbidden Door between WWE and AEW, the person I would want to have a match with is probably … yeah, I’d like to get in there with Bad Bunny. Why not? Bad Bunny’s cool,” he said. [H/T: Sports Illustrated]

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Cassidy in AEW. Hopefully, he will end this year on a strong note.
