After leading an incredible career, Caroline Wozniacki stepped away from the tennis courts in 2020. However, the break was short lived and the Dane returned to the WTA Tour in early 2023. Wozniacki enjoyed several strong performances in her comeback, reaching the fourth round of the 2023 and 2024 US Open, while making quarterfinals appearance at 2024 Indian Wells and Bad Homburg Open.In 2025, Wozniacki welcomed her third child and has since stepped away from tennis again. Recently in an interview with Bloomberg Television, the 36-year-old revealed what her life looks like now, saying,

“I love tennis, so right now I haven’t played a competitive match in almost two years, and I have three little kids. I spend a lot of time with them. They’re only little for so long, so I really want to make the most out of it and spend as much time as I possibly can with them. They grow up so fast.

“But I still like to be involved in tennis, so I still do broadcasting, commentating at the four slams. I do events like this, sponsor activities. So I work maybe about ten weeks a year. And that really works out well for me and where I’m at at this stage of my life,” she went on to add.

While Caroline Wozniacki has not returned to tennis since giving birth to her son Max, the Dane hasn’t yet officially announced her retirement from the sport. While she told the Nothing Major podcast that the likelihood of her returning to the Tour was minimal, she has maintained a ‘never say never’ stance on the possibility of another comeback.
