Dianna Russini puts on Superwoman hat to rescue old man and his dog from fatal car crash amid Mike Vrabel photos drama


NFL reporter Dianna Russini has been in the news after the New York Post’s Page Six published her controversial pictures with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel earlier this month.

The Athletic reporter resigned from her role on Tuesday after the outlet launched an investigation into the pictures. The former Athletic reporter rescued an elderly man and his dog from an overturned Jeep, according to a latest report by TMZ.

A Honda Civic collided with a Jeep in suburban Wyckoff, New Jersey. The Jeep, flipping onto its side after the collision. TMZ shared the video of the accident scene.

According to reports, Russini rescued the 73-year-old driver and his dog after the accident happened in front of her car. Page Six reported that Russini was helped by another man during the rescue.

“She ran out and had a tall man put her on top of the Jeep to open the door, and she and the other guy pulled the driver and his dog out of the Jeep,” an eyewitness told the outlet.

Russini’s heroic act comes just hours after she resigned from the Atheltic amid the ongoing media circus surrounding her alleged affair with Mike Vrabel.
