Aion 2 launched worldwide on October 5, 2026, with an initial roster of eight classes, like Gladiator, Templar, and Assassin. An additional Brawler class already exists on the game’s Korean servers but has not yet arrived in the global version. Despite the variety of options available, many players are eager to use a gauntlet-based character as an alt.
They might be wondering whether the Brawler class will ever be released in Aion 2 global. While NCSoft has not confirmed an official release date yet, the community anticipates its arrival sometime in 2027.
When is Brawler class expected to launch in Aion 2 global

As specified, the Brawler was excluded from Aion 2’s global launch roster. It is the ninth class that was added to the Korean servers recently with the July 2026 update.
The global client is expected to receive the gauntlet-wielding character path once it catches up with the Korean version. Given that the gap between the two clients is roughly half a year, the community expects its arrival around April 2027.
Developer NCSoft will certainly use a major content patch to roll out the Brawler class in the global version, just as they did on the Korean servers. In the meantime, players will want to make progress in the game with their existing build. That way, they can be fully prepared to build an alternate character by the time the new class debuts.

What to expect from the Brawler class in Aion 2

Much of the information available online regarding the Brawler is based on the Korean version of the game. When the class becomes available in Aion 2 global, players can expect them to excel at close-range combat using heavy gauntlet strikes. It fills the role of a classic bruiser DPS, sticking close to targets and maintaining pressure by chaining melee combos.
The class further employs a special Rampage mechanic, which ramps up damage with each consecutive melee attack. With a proper build and rotation, the Brawler is expected to dominate the endgame. Perhaps, many players will want to pick up the ninth class for their alternate characters to tackle PVP battles.
